Q1. How long have you been painting for and what/who inspires you?
I have been painting for 6 years. I am inspired by many talented artists and nature
Q2. Tell us about a moment that you have felt successful and proud?
The most recent was being asked to be an influencer for KrazeFX and a featured artist for your platform.
Q3. What is one of your top tips for a beginner face painter?
Take the time to practice as much as possible. When you begin to get frustrated take a break and come back when you’re clear-headed. Proper practice makes progress and it’s just paint so don’t be scared to mess up.
Q4. If you could only choose one paint and one brush, what would you choose?
I would choose black and a no 3-round brush. I can practice brush strokes and line work for hours and enjoy it.
Q5. Is there any design that challenges you or you don’t like to paint?
I think realism is challenging and takes a lot of time for detail. I prefer to avoid designs that take a long time especially if it’s a tiny design.
Q6. What is your favourite thing to paint?
My favourite thing to paint has to be roses.
Q7. If you could collaborate with any other artist, who would it be?
This is a tough one with so many amazing and talented artists. I would have to choose Mark Reid for his incredible body painting skills.
Q8. Tell us what your 3 most favourite colours are to work with.
I always prefer white, magenta, and green.
Q9. Do you have any other creative hobbies, outside of creating face painting designs?
I enjoy painting with acrylics and I’m currently learning scroll-style pinstriping
Q10. What do you consider to be an important element that contributes to ‘Artists Supporting Artists’?
Creating an environment where all artists can feel welcomed and valued no matter their experience.
